IHK award to cooperation project between Fischer and CCA-BW

IHK awards cooperation project between Fischer and CCA-BW with the "Excellent Technology Transfer Neckar-Alb" prize.

For a joint project, Fischer and the Competence Center Archaeometry - Baden-Württemberg (CCA-BW) of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen were awarded the "Excellent Technology Transfer Neckar-Alb" prize by the Reutlingen Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The IHK thus honors practical research that has produced innovative products, technologies as well as services in cooperation with companies.

The subject of the project was the development of a compact and thus mobile analysis device. Three high-resolution, non-destructive analysis methods are combined in one portable device. For the first time, this new system enables combined, non-destructive, highly spatially resolved chemical and structural analysis on a wide variety of samples. It is predestined for on-site examination of archaeological artifacts and art objects. In addition, the instrument has applications in industry, such as inline process monitoring. Read more here.

Congratulations also to Meister Strömungstechnik GmbH, whose  cooperative project with CCA-BW was also awarded.
