The Basis for Successful Corrosion Protection

If a coating is applied under excessively moist conditions, this can lead to quality problems such as poor adhesion of the coating and premature corrosion.

To ensure the coating adheres properly, the substrate temperature must be at least 3 ยฐC above the respective dew point temperature at any point during coating work. Using Fischer dew point meter provides you with air humidity and temperature information to reduce the need for rework.
