From measuring instrument to production plant – our three integration stages
A measuring device is only half the solution. We develop customized systems in three integration stages – with proven FISCHER measurement technology at their core.
Offline Measurement
Standalone measuring station, physically separated from production. Manual or semi-automatic loading.
Atline Measurement
Measuring station in the immediate vicinity of the line. Sample measurement with a short feedback cycle.
Inline Measurement
Fully automatic integration into the production line. 100% inspection in real-time, connection to MES and PLC.
Interfaces
Control panel, local data storage, manual sample handling
Interfaces
Sample carrier, robotic handling, OPC UA, Modbus TCP
Interfaces
Line PLC, conveyor system trigger, MES connection, data streams
Example
Copper coating thickness measurement on PCB panels (Offline)
Example
Measurement of metallized solar wafers
Example
Copper layer thickness measurement on PCB panels (inline)
Two partners, one standard. Precise measurement at the pace of production.
From tactile measurement technology to X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) – together with our customers, we develop solutions that integrate measurement processes directly into production, network workflows, and measurably safeguard quality. Always precisely tailored to your requirements and production reality.
Tactile OFFLINE
Copper coating thickness measurement in PCB manufacturing
Offline measuring station with five tactile ERCU probes
When five ERCU N probes measure simultaneously on a printed circuit board using the micro-resistance method according to DIN EN 14571, mechanical precision determines the conclusiveness of the measured values. For PCB manufacturing, Prodema has developed an offline measuring station in which the FISCHER MMS® is fully integrated.
- Application: Copper coating thickness measurement on PCB panels
- Measurement method: Microresistivity method
- FISCHER measuring instrument: FISCHERSCOPE® MMS® technology with five ERCU N probes
- Integration level: Offline
