Sindelfingen - Award-winning innovative strength: Helmut Fischer GmbH has been awarded the TOP 100 seal 2021. This award honors particularly innovative companies - now for the 28th time. Fischer had previously demonstrated its innovative strength in a scientific selection process.
On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the TOP 100 innovation competition, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined the innovative strength of Fischer. The researchers used around 120 test criteria (further information: www.top100.de/pruefkriterien) from five categories as a baseline: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.
Top management relies on unique strategies to promote innovation. It means the project innovation teams are constantly being reshuffled. They are made up of traditional developers and lab managers, interested employees and key customers. โInnovative methods are used and propagated at our company up to top management. This already gives them improved acceptance,โ says CEO Dr Martin Leibfritz. The focus is uncompromisingly on the quality of the products combined with a consistent service for old instruments. This has placed Helmut Fischer GmbH in the premium segment.
The company also stands for a good climate of innovation in which ideas can develop. For a vision to grow unhindered, there is no fixed format. This freedom pays off: without an explicit request from management, employees took care of realising a know-how and innovation platform. Since then, the realisation of new approaches has accelerated significantly. Itโs also helped during the Corona crisis: the measurement engineers focused early on alternative market segments and intensive dialogue with their customers. For example, the consistent use of digital media and webinars and application training led to a noticeable improvement in incoming orders despite the this global pandemic.
Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, the scientific director of TOP 100, is impressed by the award-winning companies. "The TOP 100 companies have consistently focused on being as innovative as possible," he notes.
